Integrated Test Range (ITR), a premier laboratory of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications from meritorious and eligible final-year Engineering and Science Undergraduate/Postgraduate students for the Paid Internship Scheme 2026-27. The internship will be conducted for a period of six months at ITR, Chandipur and provides an opportunity to gain practical exposure in advanced defence technologies and testing systems.

Educational Qualification
- Students pursuing Full-Time Final Year B.Tech or M.Tech in relevant Engineering disciplines.
- Students pursuing Final Year M.Sc. in Physics.
- Candidates must be studying in recognized Indian Universities/Institutes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only students pursuing or continuing Undergraduate/Postgraduate Engineering or Science courses are eligible.
- Candidates should have a good academic record.
- Application must be recommended by the Principal/Director of the Institution.
- A brief biodata (maximum 300 words) highlighting achievements should be enclosed.
- Professional memberships, awards or achievements may be included.
Internship Duration & Stipend
- Internship Duration: 06 Months
- Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000/-
- Students must maintain a minimum of 15 working days physical attendance every month.
- Stipend will be paid in two installments.
- First installment after successful completion of 03 months.
- Second installment after successful completion of 06 months.
- Payment will be credited directly to the student's bank account.

Boarding & Lodging
- No boarding or lodging expenses will be provided.
- Students must make their own accommodation arrangements.
- Lunch, tea and snacks may be availed at subsidized rates in the ITR canteen.
Terms & Conditions
- Internship completion does not guarantee employment in DRDO.
- Students must complete the full 06-month internship tenure.
- Students leaving before completion will not receive a completion certificate.
- No stipend will be paid if a student does not complete at least 03 months of internship.
- Internship certificate will be issued only after successful completion, project evaluation and report submission.
- ITR reserves the right to change vacancy positions or selection criteria at any stage.
- Interns must arrange accommodation, transport and other personal expenses themselves.
