Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications from eligible and meritorious final-year B.E./B.Tech., M.Tech. and M.Sc. (Electronics) students for the DRDO Paid Internship Scheme 2026. The internship offers valuable exposure to advanced defence technologies including Software Defined Radios, Satellite Communication, Data Links and Surveillance Technologies.

Educational Qualification
- Full-Time B.E./B.Tech students who have completed 3rd Year / 6th Semester or are expected to complete it by July 2026.
- Full-Time M.Tech. or M.Sc. (Electronics) students who have completed 1st Year / 2nd Semester or are expected to complete it by July 2026.
- Candidates must be studying in AICTE-approved Colleges/Universities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a scale of 10.
- Students with any backlog/failure in the first five semesters are not eligible.
- Application must be recommended by the Head/Dean/Principal of the Institute.
- A brief Bio-data/Resume must be submitted along with the application.
Internship Duration & Stipend
- Internship Duration: 06 Months
- Total Stipend: ₹30,000/-
- Minimum Attendance Required: 15 Days per Month
- ₹15,000 after successful completion of first 03 months.
- ₹15,000 after successful completion of final 06 months.
- Stipend will be paid in two installments.

- Undertaking regarding Ministry of Defence IT Rules & Regulations.
- Bank Account Details (Passbook Front Page / Cancelled Cheque).
- Original Aadhaar Card.
- Original College Identity Card.
- Original Marksheets for Verification.
- 03 Passport Size Colour Photographs.
- Indemnity Form.
Boarding & Lodging
- No lodging, boarding, transport or medical expenses will be provided by DEAL.
- Students must bear all personal expenses during the internship period.
Terms & Conditions
- Internship is strictly for 06 months.
- Students who fail to complete the full internship period will not be eligible for stipend or certificate.
- Internship completion does not guarantee employment in DRDO.
- Management reserves the right to change vacancy positions or selection criteria at any stage.
- Applications received after the due date will be rejected.
- Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be considered.

Important Instructions
